16 de mai. de 2024 · The battleship Scharnhorst, lead ship of her class, was commissioned in January 1939, and saw extensive service during the Second World War alongside her sister Gneisenau. Scharnhorst became one of the last battleships to be sunk in a surface action when she was lost during the Battle of the North Cape on 26 December 1943.
