Há 3 dias · Walter FitzAlan (c. 1090 – 1177) was a twelfth-century Anglo-Norman baron who became a Scottish magnate and Steward of Scotland. [note 1] He was a younger son of Alan fitz Flaad and Avelina de Hesdin. In about 1136, Walter entered into the service of David I, King of Scotland.

He was son to James Stewart, 5th High Steward of Scotland by his spouse Cecilia, daughter of Patrick Dunbar, 7th Earl of Dunbar and Marjory, daughter of Alexander Comyn, 2nd Earl of Buchan.
