Elspeth unit comp tips? Hello, new DLC is pretty fun, Elspeth as a LL definitely feels strong, especially with the gunner upgrades. There's quite a number of gunpowder units to choose from, regular handgunners, ironsides, longshots, cav gunners, as well as all the various artillery options.

I don’t know what triggers the quest to appear, but you have to protect them from waves of Slaanesh enemies, whilst also needing to close the three portals the enemies spawn from. It popped up fairly early in my Elspeth campaign. I tried the mission and the AI seems pretty hellbent on focussing Gotrek and Felix, so I failed unfortunately.

Battles giving roughly between 75-300 schematics per battle and the drop/spend rate felt about right based on roughly half my units being guns. A couple of big battles would get you enough for the cheapest upgrades.
