Há 2 dias · Elsa Lanchester as Katie Nanna, the disgruntled nanny who quits the Banks family; Arthur Treacher as Constable Jones, a police officer; Reginald Owen as Admiral Boom, the Banks' eccentric neighbor and a naval officer. He has his first mate, Mr. Binnacle, fire a cannon from his roof every 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

  2. Elsa Lanchester in Bride Of Frankenstein, 1935. My pick, by far, of the best classic Universal horror movies. Every October I watch this, Frankenstein, and Invisible Man, and have an absolute blast. They packed in so much entertaining storytelling in 70 mins back then.

  6. 18 de mai. de 2024 · CosmicRamen. Where can I watch The Scarlet Woman: An Ecclesiastical Melodrama (1925)? This is a fairly obscure movie notable for having Evelyn Waugh and Elsa Lanchester star in it. The one single link I could find that seems to actually have the movie is the BFI player, where’s it available for free. Great, except I’m not in the UK.

  7. 25 de mai. de 2024 · Elsa Lanchester and Boris Karloff in Bride of Frankenstein (1935), directed by James Whale. The inventive sequel Bride of Frankenstein (1935), in which Dr. Frankenstein (Clive) builds a mate (Elsa Lanchester) for his monster, is considered Whale’s masterpiece.
