23 de mai. de 2024 · Dame Eleanor Laing has been a Conservative MP for Epping Forest for 27 years, but has announced she will not be standing in the next election. The General Election will be held on July 4 this year, following an announcement from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Wednesday (May 22).
23 de mai. de 2024 · Epping Forest MP Dame Eleanor Laing has today announced that she is to stand down at the General Election. The announcement was made in a letter to Epping Forest Conservative Association chairman Holly Whitbread.

Four MPs — Nadine Dorries, [1] [2] Nigel Adams, [3] [4] Chris Skidmore [5] (all Conservative) and Chris Pincher [6] (independent, elected as Conservative) — announced their intention not to stand again, but later resigned from Parliament before the election, and are not included in the figures below. There were no vacant seats at dissolution.
