And although I didn’t consider myself a reader growing up, I did have a handful of experiences where I enjoyed my reading (for some reason, Frankenstein & Silas Marner were top-tier reading experiences).

We didn’t want to leave them stranded as only children at home without us. So we developed an escape itinerary; we packed hot pink sleeping bags and pillows.

Há 4 dias · In 1933, O'Keeffe was hospitalized for two months after suffering a nervous breakdown, largely due to Stieglitz's affair with Dorothy Norman. She did not paint again until January 1934. O'Keeffe continued to visit New Mexico, without her husband, and created a new body of works based upon the desert.

She was hospitalised and treated for depression. She went into solace and deeply got into painting and artwork. Most of her paintings at the time involved flowers and outdoor nature.
