11 de mai. de 2024 · Arthur Annesley, 1st Earl of Anglesey PC (10 July 1614 – 6 April 1686) was an Anglo-Irish royalist statesman. After short periods as President of the Council of State and Treasurer of the Navy, he served as Lord Privy Seal between 1673 and 1682 for Charles II.
The manor then passed to his sister Lucy Fortescue, wife of Sir Arthur Annesley, Viscount Valentia. She and her husband were dealing with half the manor in 1782–3, but she died in 1783, and the manor passed to her son George, who succeeded his father as Earl of Mountnorris in 1816.
