23 de jun. de 2024 · On 3 March 1965, Hall appeared on BBC2 television in Muses with Milligan with Spike Milligan and John Betjeman in a show devoted to poetry and jazz. In 1968, Hall appeared in Janie Jones , a new American play written by Robert P. Hillier and directed by Peter Cotes .
Há 3 dias · Graves, author of the famous 'I Claudius', was impressed by the work Spike did as MC on a BBC poetry programme, 'Muses with Milligan', at Christmas in 1964. The two rarely met in person, but carried on a long correspondence which only ended when Graves died in 1985.

25 de jun. de 2024 · But apart from the 'best of' DVD and the 'Q Milligan' highlights show there seems to be very little chance of seeing any of Q or There's a Lot Of It About. With its racial stereotypes it has about a zero chance of ever being rebroadcast even on satellite so is there anyway to get a hold of them?
22 de jun. de 2024 · I'll be putting the five Q Milligan compilations up on UK Nova later, if anyone's interested. A slightly fairer sample of his tv work than the DVD. I may even dig out the 2 editions of Q5 and the solitary Oh In Colour I've got as well.
