10 de jun. de 2024 · Sir Cloudesley Shovell was this year chiefly employed in the Channel, and on the coast of Ireland. On the 21st of July, he received orders to proceed with the ships under his command to for Kinsale, to intercept some French frigates, that were said to be on that coast.
