The Cats were a Dutch rock band formed in Volendam in 1964. They were active (with a few interruptions) from 1964 until 1985 and had their most successful period from 1968 until 1975. Of the many hits the band had at home and abroad, the biggest one is " One Way Wind ", which was released in 38 countries and a top ten number in several of them, of which it was a number one in Switzerland.

Tonight is the one special night each year when the tribe of Jellicle Cats reunites to celebrate who they are.
CATS premiered in London's West End in May 1981. It was the start of a huge hit that still hasn’t ended nearly 40 years later. More than 81 million people have now seen a production of CATS in more than 350 cities in 20 countries. After its premiere, CATS ran uninterrupted for 21 years in London with about 9000 performances.
