The Estufa Fria in Lisbon's Parque Eduardo VII (Eduardo VII Park) is a greenhouse and garden located in what was once a 19th century basalt quarry. The quarry was utilized by a local gardener to shelter plants and with the help of painter and architect Raul Carapinha (1876-1957), the Estufa Fria ("cool greenhouse") opened in 1933.
