During that time, the ship received several repairs to the thrusters and stabilizers, a fresh coat of paint, and updates to the interior. Queen Mary 2 is often referred to as the most beautiful ocean liner in the world and one of the fastest.

Then using the satellite map on google for Brest, you can see the dry dock and the buildings and facilities surrounding it. 18 de nov. de 2023 · Queen Mary 2, the flagship of the British cruise line Cunard, underwent comprehensive technical maintenance and renovation dry dock over the past three weeks. This operational refit included technical maintenance, replacing carpets, and renovating staterooms, rejuvenating the iconic vessel for its upcoming winter service.
1962 - 1966. The 1960s were a decade of major change and with the rise of popularity in air travel; ocean liners were slowly becoming obsolete. The old world luxury and sensibilities of the Queen Mary seemed outdated in a modern world now transfixed on the notion of space exploration.
