Françoise d'Aubigné "Madame de Maintenon", född 27 november 1635, död 15 april 1719, var en fransk hovdam; mätress och morganatisk hustru till kung Ludvig XIV av Frankrike. Hennes äktenskap med kungen var inofficiellt och aldrig öppet erkänt, och hon var aldrig drottning, utan hade titeln markisinna de Maintenon ( marquise de Maintenon ).
Biography. Françoise Amable d’Aubigné (1684-1739), daughter of Charles, Count d’Aubigné, and Geneviève Piètre, was the only niece of Madame de Maintenon.She was brought up by her aunt as if she were her own daughter, and was reputed to be a “good girl, well educated and full of religion”.
