The Night Caller is a smart and taught little British sci fi movie. It sounds like a B horror film but it's more of a thriller. It's very well shot although sometimes awkward editing can ruin that, and the acting all around is stellar.

Infelizmente, a atuação de Michael Graham no papel de um policial, mesmo que de forma breve, destoa das demais participações do filme. Sua entrega foi demasiadamente exagerada e acabou contrastando demais com seus parceiros em cena. Difícil não notar. Muitos expectadores farão comparações entre The Night e O Iluminado (1980).
