The film is loosely based on the 1957 Roger Corman exploitation film Sorority Girl. This one is part of the Showtime Rebel Highway series that gave us one of my all-time favorite movies, Roadracers. The concept was a 10-week series of 1950s "drive-in classic" b-movies remade "with a '90s edge".

Synopsis. They’re Smart. They’re Pretty. And They’re All Bad! A spoiled little rich girl arrives at Sorority High with studying the last thing on her mind. God damn, peep that illustrated credits sequence in the beginning. Sorority Girl is just one of the nine movies Roger Corman - rest his soul - directed in 1957 yet people'd pee and cry if a sequence with as much care and artfulness showed up in front of some crummy January release nowadays.
