Brief Synopsis. A prison picture with the twist of having the title characters not inmates but a contingent of female guards under the charge of Stella Stevens, juggling a love affair with captain of the guards, Hector Elizondo, and a brutal prison yard riot she volunteers to quell.

That doesn’t quite explain why a number of the male officers act as though this is a new thing they are having to contend with.
