24 de jun. de 2021 · Candace Jackson-Akiwumi was confirmed by the Senate to the Chicago-based federal appeals court Thursday, adding another former federal defender to the appellate bench and diversity to the court. Jackson-Akiwumi , a partner at Zuckerman Spaeder, was confirmed by the Democratic-controlled Senate in a 53-40 vote, securing support from a few Republicans.
