We think we offer a wonderful College experience for our community to learn and grow together – with 24-hour libraries and accommodation for all years of undergraduate study. Plus 13 clubs and societies, two College cats, and vegetarian and vegan food twice voted the best in Oxford.
"As Director of the Visiting Student Programme, it is a great pleasure to welcome new Visiting Students to Mansfield each year. My role is to liaise with universities around the world and to help international students consider whether they would like to study at Mansfield College as part of their degree.
Joining the University of Oxford. This was part of a broader move to recognise the rights of dissenters to study at the University of Oxford. While catering largely for Congregationalist students, Mansfield College welcomed other denominations too – providing a focal point for dissenters who had long been excluded from the religious life of the University.
Mansfield College opened in Oxford in 1886, and was founded to allow Dissenters to study at Oxford University. That spirit of openness and inclusion continues into the twenty first century.
