Pendennis Castle was a great visit - not only the castle itself but the moat walk and walk down to "Little Dennis". There are excellent volunteers and staff giving tours of the grounds, castle, and history - and the history really does span centuries: from the 1500s to the English Civil War to WWI and WWII. Certainly a must if you are in Falmouth.
