  2. We celebrate Johanna Mafuyana Nkomo. She taught women at Empandeni Mission homecraft skills. She supported her family by knitting, sewing, and selling dresses while Nkomo was incarcerated. The Johanna Mafuyana township in Maphisa Growth Point is named after her in her memory.
