A few months later, on February 1, 1856, Augusta and Placido (himself the son of princess Charlotte Bonaparte Gabrielli) celebrated their marriage in the Chapelle Impériale of the Palais des Tuileries in Paris.

Placido Gabrielli, Prince of Prossedi and Roccasecca, Duke of Pisterzo, was the son of Charlotte Bonaparte Gabrielli and the husband of Augusta Bonaparte Gabrielli. Between 1880 and 1885 he served as the first president of the Banco di Roma.
Angelo Gabrielli’s descendant, Placido Gabrielli, who married his cousin, Augusta Bonaparte, became the fourth and last of the Prossedi princes. After their deaths, at the beginning of the 20th century, the Palazzo was passed down to my great-grandfather, Alberto del Gallo di Roccagiovine.
Figlio del Principe don Mario Gabrielli e di Carlotta Bonaparte, Placido era nipote di Luciano Bonaparte, fratello di Napoleone, Principe di Canino e di Musignano, e della prima moglie Christine Boyer. Nacque nell'allora Palazzo Gabrielli a Monte Giordano, e fu battezzato dal cardinal vicario Placido Zurla, in onore del quale ebbe il nome [1] .
