Robert Bunsen. Químico alemão, Robert Wilhelm Eberhardt Bunsen, nasceu em Gotinga na Alemanha a 31 de março de 1811 e faleceu em Heidelberg, também na Alemanha a 16 de agosto de 1899. Bunsen foi o mais novo de quatro filhos de Christian Bunsen, chefe de biblioteca e professor de línguas modernas na Universidade de Gotinga.
