A young officer in Napoleon’s army pursues a mysterious woman to the castle of an elderly Baron, where he discovers that she is the pawn of an old witch bent on driving the Baron to suicide.
The film was infamously made using left-overs from The Raven (including both the cast and sets), which Corman finished two days earlier than expected. Having Boris Karloff on hand, Corman decided to write and film his scenes first, and then figure out everything else afterwards as there wasn't even a script.

Film Synopsis. L ieutenant André Duvalier is an officer in the French Foreign Legion. Having been separated from his regiment, he finds himself alone on a deserted beach. He is surprised by a beautiful young woman in a white dress, but she mysteriously disappears after she has shown him where to find drinking water.
