WinBox is a utility tool for MikroTik's RouterOS that can be freely downloaded and used on your PC devices. However, the OS itself needs to be purchased first before you can use it. This tool only provides a way for you to control and manage it using a graphical user interface on your computer.
Starting with macOS 10.15 Catalina, Apple has removed support for 32bit applications, meaning it is no longer possible to use regular Wine and regular WinBox in this OS. Wine has made available a 64bit version for macOS, and MikroTik has released a special WinBox64.exe version as well.
