I can see all of the new and old emails, but when I click on them to read them nothing happens. They won't open.. I have rebooted.

Press Ctrl + C to snatch text up into the invisible treasure chest that’s the clipboard, and Ctrl + V to spill it wherever you fancy. We’re not just pressing keys willy-nilly.
