This 7-day Banff and Jasper itinerary is best for summer visits but can be used for late-spring and early-fall visits too. Since winter in Banff and Jasper are very different from summer, we have a separate itinerary for that season.
16 de mai. de 2024 · Grand Canyon North Rim. The North Rim is also part of the national park. It is visible from the South Rim and located 11 miles away as the bird flies. But it takes 4 hours to drive around the canyon to get there! Open only from May to October, it receives only 10% of the park’s visitors (read: great getaway!).

24 de mai. de 2024 · The best way to hike the Black Elk Peak hike is to begin at the trailhead and take one of the trails to the summit. Bring plenty of water and snacks to consume during this moderately difficult hike. Stay on the chosen trail and follow trail markers to avoid getting lost. If you are an avid hiker, consider going on the Confusing Black Elk Peak hike.
