The operational dates are typically announced in the spring. For the 2024 season, the Sunshine Gondola is open daily from June 28 – September 22, 2024.

As you begin your descent, you’ll enjoy excellent views of Mount Howard Douglas (2,820 m) and Lookout Mountain (2,730 m) – the two peaks in-between the Great Divide chairlift and the Goat’s Eye chairlift.

While the trip with the chairlift is a bit pricey, it’s quite an adventure in its own right. The best option is to buy an all-day pass online in advance, which is cheaper and easier than buying at the ticket counter.
