25 de jul. de 2022 · George Marshall and Sir Winston Churchill had a long, but not always peaceful, association. They first met in 1919, when Capt. Marshall was Aide-de-Camp to Gen. John Pershing. Pershing and Marshall were in London, and Churchill, then serving as Secretary of State for War and Secretary of State for Air in the British War Office, came to review U.S. troops at Hyde Park.
