References should understand the applicant’s reasons for applying to the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, as well as the person’s goals and strengths. Occasionally, MPP applicants are unable to submit an academic letter of recommendation given the time from undergraduate or graduate study.
Additional Program Requirements. In addition to the six core courses, all students must: Complete a graduate policy workshop in the second year. Complete qualifying examinations (IPE, QE1, QE2; see more information below). Maintain a minimum average of 80 (B-) to continue for the second year and for graduation.
