Westcott House offers a range of training pathways and academic awards to suit students’ different learning styles and experience. In partnership with the Cambridge Theological Federation, we offer a range of degrees awarded by Cambridge University (Cambridge Awards) and Durham University (Common Awards).
The Council of Westcott House has appointed the Revd Dr Helen Dawes to be Principal with effect from February 2021. Bishop Paul Ferguson, Chair of the Council of Westcott House, said: ‘Helen will bring very special gifts and insights as she joins Westcott House as Principal. I look forward to her leading the college, building.

Há 2 dias · Westcott House. The Clergy Training School, known since 1902 as Westcott House, owes its inception to B. F. Westcott (1825–1901). An active promoter of better theological training for Anglican ordinands, he, with Lightfoot, had supported the Ridley scheme until, in their words, it adopted a basis 'narrower than that of the National Church'.
Through partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, Westcott House has a thriving postgraduate research community. We have full and part-time students, either resident in Cambridge or from much further afield, who are studying for PhDs independently or as part of their ordination training. All postgraduate students are welcomed into the life of Westcott House as members

A message on the college’s website from the Bishop of Whitby, the Rt Revd Paul Ferguson, who chairs the Westcott House Council, thanked Canon Chivers “for all the good things he has done in his time as Principal.
