Há 3 dias · In 1796 a 'moiety of the manor of Ashampstead' (presumably as distinct from Pyt House) was conveyed by Sir William Henry Clerke, bart., and Byzantia his wife to Francis Pym and others. The Gills held the manor about forty years. They lived at Pyt House, which appears to have been the manorhouse of the northern moiety
25 de mai. de 2024 · The Eltisley estate (c. 260 a.) seems to have come into the possession of William's second son, Woolaston Pym (d. 1846), rector of Radwell (Herts.). On his death it passed to his nephew Francis Pym (d. 1860) who in 1850 sold it to Samuel Newton of Croxton Park.
