The ancient capitals were located before on Lake Skadar — first in Zabljak, then on Obod (Rijeka Crnojevića) — but both were seized by the Turks.
9 de jun. de 2024 · Die 38 Kilometer lange Bergstraße P1 verbindet Kotor mit dem Ort Cetinje. Dabei führte dieser Abschnitt unseres Montenegro Roadtrips von Kotor (auf Meeresspiegelhöhe) hinauf in den Lovćen Nationalpark auf etwa 1700m. Wieder mal ist diese Fahrt nichts für ängstliche oder unerfahrene Fahrer, da die Straße stets direkt am Abhang entlang führt.

Cetinje is located on the main road Podgorica-Cetinje-Budva, which makes it well connected to the inside of Montenegro and coastal areas. From Budva: After a 10-minute drive south of Budva’s old town, there’s a turning that heads inland to Podgorica. The road leads straight to Cetinje.
