4 de fev. de 2024 · Trinity College is open year-round, all days of the week. The Book of Kells and Old Library has seasonal opening times. It is open from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM in summer, Monday to Saturday, and from 9:30 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. Opening hours vary throughout the year, so check opening hours before your visit. Entrance Fee.
Dublin City Council granted planning permission for the Old Library Redevelopment Project in October 2020, and the historic unveiling of the new Book of Kells Treasury and display which forms the first component of these redevelopment plans also took place in autumn, 2020.

The ghost of Edward Ford, a former Trinity College student, is no stranger to present-day attendees of the university in Dublin city. The story goes that Ford got into a disagreement one late-night back in 1734 when a group of merrymakers were causing a ruckus and keeping him awake.

The 45-minute walking tours of the campus cost €16. The Book of Kells is available to the public at Trinity College library in Dublin, which is also home to 600 other medieval manuscripts.
