Balian can offer up barrels, long walls, and can get racy in sections. In our opinion, it’s one of the more forgiving spots to surf in Bali when not too big. The lefts are bit longer and better than the rights. Also, watch the winds because it can get beaten up later in the day. We highly recommend staying at Gajah Mina Beach Resort.
Good to know: Arrival: Balian Beach is located on a road that runs along the west coast of Bali. There is no real place for that. Most of them come from the south, such as Kuta, which can be reached by scooter in 1.5 hours. However, you will only find the access sign if you are coming from the north.
