Have a Supermicro server that was in dire need of a good cleaning and ESXI reinstall. This server has a CHR for routing (no NAT) and some VMs inside ESXI.

After installing licence, some of our customers started to complain of VPN disconnections and hangs. We've found packet loss, which were caused by CHR instance. Actual loss was between 0.5 and 5%.

It is possible to transfer a perpetual license to another CHR instance. A running CHR instance will indicate the time when it has to access the account server to renew its license. If the CHR instance will not be able to renew the license it will behave as if the trial period has run out and will not allow an upgrade of RouterOS to a newer version.
