18 de ago. de 2021 · It has been on display in the Old Library at Trinity College from the mid 19th century, and now attracts in excess of 500,000 visitors a year. Since 1953 it has been bound in four volumes. Two volumes can normally be seen, one opened to display a major decorated page, and one to show two pages of script.

It is open from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM in summer, Monday to Saturday, and from 9:30 AM to 5 PM on Sundays. Opening hours vary throughout the year, so check opening hours before your visit. Entrance Fee.

The Book of Kells exhibit is remarkable, especially in terms of how the book has been preserved for so many years. But the true highlight for me was the long room — an ultimate book lovers’ paradise.
