Archduke Franz Salvator ( Altmünster, 21 August 1866 – Vienna, 20 April 1939), married firstly in Ischl on 31 July 1890 Archduchess Marie Valerie of Austria (1868 – 1924), and had issue, and married secondly morganatically in Vienna on 28 April 1934 Melanie Freiin von Riesenfels (1898 – 1984), without issue.

Early life. Archduke Albrecht Franz was born in Vienna, Austria-Hungary, only son of Archduke Friedrich, Duke of Teschen (1856–1936, son of Archduke Karl Ferdinand of Austria and Archduchess Elisabeth Franziska of Austria) and his wife, Princess Isabella of Croÿ (1856–1931, daughter of Rudolf, Duke of Croÿ and Princess Natalie of Ligne).
Biography. Ferdinand Karl was the third son of Archduke Charles Louis of Austria and Princess Maria Annunciata of Bourbon-Two Sicilies. Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination at Sarajevo on 28 June 1914 launched World War I, was his elder brother. He served as a major-general in the Austro-Hungarian Army .
Ferdinand, who was a Feldmarschalleutnant (Austrian "two stars" general rank), died at Brno a few months later at the age of 28 from typhus. His widow remarried with Archduke Karl Ferdinand of Austria . Ferdinand is the link in the Jacobite succession between his brother Francis V, Duke of Modena and his daughter Maria Theresa of Austria-Este .

Life. Archduke Leopold was the eldest son of Archduke Rainer Joseph of Austria and Princess Elisabeth of Savoy and a grandson of Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor.
