She was the only daughter of Duke Frederick II of Legnica, Brzeg and Wohlau and his second wife Sophie of Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach. She married Johann Georg von Brandenburg in 1545. On January 27th of the next year she gave birth to her only child and died ten days later.
