27 de dez. de 2017 · Après de brillantes études au collège de Moulins, Louis-Hector, marquis de Villars, entre aux pages de la Grande Écurie en 1670, puis aux mousquetaires en 1671. Le 28 août 1674, il est fait mestre de camp d’un régiment de cavalerie de son nom le régiment de Villars cavalerie, incorporé le 15 août 1679 dans le régiment de Beaupré [ 4 ] .
