Valentina Matvienko also informed the audience about the decisions adopted by the participants of the IPA CIS Council meeting that was held just before this session. In her welcome address, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova , highlighted the IPA CIS' productive activities in all areas of interparliamentary cooperation.
