Giovanni Agnelli, ( Villar Perosa , 13 août 1866 – Turin , 16 décembre 1945 ), est un industriel emblématique italien, pionnier de l'automobile, président et cofondateur de l'empire industriel Fiat en 1899, et homme politique italien. Ses deux petits-fils Giovanni et Umberto lui succèdent respectivement en 1966 et 2003.
Giovanni Agnelli war der einzige Sohn von Edoardo Agnelli senior, einem angesehenen Landwirt und norditalienischen Großgrundbesitzer in der Umgebung von Villar Perosa, und Aniceta Frisetti. Nach der Schule besuchte er von 1884 bis 1886 die Militärschule in Modena und verließ sie als Leutnant der italienischen Kavallerie.
