Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens ( 29. března 1869 Londýn – 1. ledna 1944 Londýn) byl britský architekt, designér a zahradní architekt. Bývá považován za jednoho z největších britských architektů 20. století. Navrhl mnoho anglických venkovských domů a podílel se na návrhu a výstavbě Nového Dillí .
Lutyens' Delhi is an area in New Delhi, India, named after the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869–1944), who was responsible for much of the architectural design and building during the period of the British Raj, when India was part of the British Empire in the 1920s and 1930s and 1940s. This also includes the Lutyens Bungalow Zone (LBZ).

The preeminent British architect, Edwin Landseer Lutyens, assisted by Herbert Baker, was tasked with planning this grand endeavour. The present map presents the Lutyen’s master plan for New Delhi as it stood in 1912, a design that was largely followed as construction proceeded over the next 18 years.

6 de dez. de 2019 · Lutyens was born in Kensington – the 10th of 13 children. His father was a painter and a soldier, and a good friend of the painter and sculptor Edwin Henry Landseer. It was after this family friend that the new child was named: Edwin Landseer Lutyens. Like his namesake, it soon became clear that Lutyens wanted to pursue a career in design.
