28 de jul. de 2014 · Much has been written on Sir Francis Walsingham, otherwise known as Elizabeth I's Secretary of State and Spymaster, but very little detailing the life of his only child, Frances. Although she was closely associated with some of the greatest and most powerful people of that era, her presence and her contribution to the course of history is largely unknown.

Frances Seymour, Duchess of Somerset ( née Devereux; 30 September 1599 [1] – 24 April 1674) was an English noblewoman who lived during the reigns of Elizabeth I, James I, Charles I and Charles II.
