I know this from what I have seen and experienced, and also from what I have been told by transfer students and alumni. The sense of purpose, commitment and camaraderie engendered at St. John’s is palpable. The students and faculty are, to a person, kind, respectful, and smart.

The school catered first for native Fijians of chiefly rank. This class-based enrolment was later abolished. The Marist Brothers were responsible for teaching the boys.
