10 de fev. de 2020 · Ruth’s significant role as Billy’s wife and support was recognized by his team. Billy’s long-time assistant T.W. Wilson said, “There would have been no Billy Graham as we know him today had it not been for Ruth.” Indeed, there couldn’t have been the Billy Graham the world knew without the love and support of Ruth.

She met Billy Graham while attending Wheaton College, and their 63-year marriage—and partnership in ministry—began after their wedding on Aug. 13, 1943, in Montreat, North Carolina.

Attendees were given a discount on Ruth Bell Graham’s works, available in Ruth’s Attic bookstore at the Billy Graham Library. Her gift of resourcefulness never waned. She’d save heavy napkins from restaurants, and reuse bows, cards, even wrapping paper.
