THE WILD BUNCH feels singular in its portrayal of ruthless, cold, and brutal people murdering their way through a ruthless, cold, and brutal world. Even the children have no mercy, instead the first shot of the film shows their sick enjoyment of suffering animals. I don't wanna know how many horses they had to shoot during production.
