In the Music Audio and Video Recordings Room of the National Library of Russia, you can listen and viewing music audio & video recordings from our collections. This room provides equipment to play CDs, DVDs, videotapes, cassettes and even gramophone records.
There are several places to eat and drink in the Library. Dining areas are available on the ground floors of the Library buildings. Two food spaces are located in the Main Building, one is situated in the New Building and one is placed in the Building on the Fontanka Embankment. Public hours are listed below. Main Building
The National Library of Russia holds one of the richest collections of sheet music in the country. It includes unique foreign early printed items from the sixteenth century and the first Russian music publications dated back the early eighteenth century and many other rare items. The holdings also contain audio, video and gramophone recordings.
The Junior Reading Room of the National Library of Russia is intended for young readers aged between 14 and 17 years. It houses over 46 thousand books covering all fields of knowledge and over 10 thousand magazines on various topics as well as reference literature.
