🎉 We’re excited to welcome our TENTH ‼️ annual AFS Doc Residency filmmakers 🎥 to the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles. Filmmakers from 12 countries 🌎 will be at USC for a two-week intensive story development and pitching workshop, culminating in a pitch session with industry experts.

With nearly 200,000 square feet of facilities, the school confers degrees ranging from the bachelor’s to the doctorate.
The Cinematic Arts Personal Statement will be read by the admissions committee as a measure of creativity, self-awareness and vision. We are looking for a sense of you as a unique individual and how your distinctive experiences, identities, values, and/or views of the world have shaped who you are and what you want to say as a creative filmmaker.
