Alexander Gordon, 3rd Earl of Huntly (died 1524) was a Scottish nobleman. He was a member of Parliament, a member of the Privy Council, a regent and Lieutenant of the kingdom.
GORDON, GEORGE, fourth Earl of Huntly (1514–1562), was the eldest son of John, master of Huntly (second son of Alexander, third earl of Huntly [q. v.]), by his wife Margaret, natural daughter of James IV and Margaret Drummond. He lost his father in his fourth year, and succeeded to the earldom on the death of his grandfather in 1524.
Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Huntly (died 15 July 1470), who adopted the family name of Gordon from about 1457, was a powerful 15th-century Scottish magnate. He was knighted in 1439/1440 and was Lord of Badenoch, Gordon, Strathbogie and Cluny.

27 de fev. de 2024 · George Gordon, 1st Marquess of Huntly was born circa 1563.1 He was the son of George Gordon, 5th Earl of Huntly and Lady Anne Hamilton.2 He married Lady Henrietta Stuart, daughter of Esmé Stuart, 1st Duke of Lennox and Catherine de Balsac, on 21 July 1588.2 He died on 13 June 1636.3.
