Early Life. Princess Helena was born at Grosvenor House, Mayfair, Westminster. Her father was Prince Adolphus of Teck (later the 2nd Duke of Teck), the eldest son of Prince Francis, Duke of Teck and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge.
